Creator Terms

The short version
- You get your own link, getserenada.com/c/your-name. Visitors who pay in US dollars get $5 off their first song through it.
- You earn 25% of the price before tax on each song bought through your link — 20% on an order paid in rupees — and 3% of the first month of Serenada Plus.
- Nothing on the second-song add-on, on free songs, on Plus renewals, or on anything you buy yourself.
- A commission counts once the buyer approves their lyrics. It is held for 30 days from the payment, then paid monthly, once you have at least $20. A smaller balance carries over.
- If an order is refunded, its commission is taken back — off your next payment if it was already paid.
- Every post about a song we gave you for free must say so: #gifted (or “paid partnership” for a paid post).
- Say only what's true about Serenada, and never imitate an artist or an existing song.
- We can end the programme, or your link, with notice. You handle your own taxes.
Your private stats page shows your clicks, the orders through your link, and what you've earned, what's on hold and what's payable. It never shows who bought or anything they wrote.
1. The programme
These terms apply to anyone Serenada invites to share a creator link (“you”). By sharing your link you agree to them. They sit alongside our Terms; where the two differ about your link, these terms apply.
2. Your link
Your link is getserenada.com/c/ followed by your name. A visitor who arrives through it is remembered for 30 days in their browser. A visitor who pays in US dollars gets $5 off the song itself on their first paid song with us; the discount is not given on the second-song add-on, a gift, Serenada Plus or an order containing a gift, and it is never combined with another discount. Visitors paying in rupees get no discount. We count visits to your page per day without storing anything about the visitor; automated visits and link previews are not counted.
3. What you earn
- A song: 25% of the price before tax of each full-price song in an order bought through your link (the song, and a gift bought with it); 20% when the order is paid in rupees. “Before tax” means what the buyer paid, less the sales tax, VAT or GST included in it.
- Serenada Plus: 3% of the first month's price before tax. Renewals earn nothing.
- Nothing on the second-song add-on; on songs that cost the buyer nothing (free links, family links, gifts being redeemed); on orders placed by you, or placed for you so that you earn; or on test payments.
Amounts are worked out in US dollars. An order paid in rupees is converted at the rate we use for our own accounts, shown on your stats page as a dollar amount.
4. When you are paid
- A commission counts once the buyer approves their lyrics — the point after which an order is no longer refunded on request.
- It is then held until 30 days after the payment, in case of a refund or a payment dispute.
- After the hold it is payable. We pay once a month for everything payable by the end of the previous month, once your balance is at least $20; a smaller balance carries over to the next month.
- We pay by hand: by UPI in India, or by Wise or PayPal elsewhere. We ask you for the details we need when a payment is due. We never store bank or payment details on the website.
5. Refunds and disputes
If an order is refunded, or its payment is reversed by the buyer's bank, the commission on it is cancelled. If it had already been paid to you, it is taken off your next payment. If your balance can't cover it, we may ask you to repay it.
6. Posting about Serenada
- Say that it was gifted or paid. Every post, story or video about a song we gave you for free must say so clearly, for example with #gifted at the start; a post we paid for must be labelled as a paid partnership. This is required by the US Federal Trade Commission's endorsement rules and the Advertising Standards Council of India's guidelines for influencer advertising, and by the platforms' own rules. Also say that you may earn a commission from your link.
- Only what's true. Describe Serenada as it is: an original song written from your memories, sung by an AI singer, with a video of your photos; you read and approve the lyrics before any music is made. Never say or suggest that the song is sung in the buyer's own voice, that it is written or sung by a human, or anything our pages don't say. Use the prices as shown on our site.
- No imitation. Never ask for or suggest a song in the style of a named artist, and never use the names or lyrics of existing songs or artists alongside Serenada.
- No spam and no fake reviews. Don't send unsolicited messages with your link, don't post reviews you didn't write from your own experience, and don't pay for ads on the name “Serenada”.
7. Ending
You can stop at any time. We can end the programme, change these terms or rates, or switch off your link, with 14 days' notice by email — or at once if you break these terms. Commissions on orders placed before the end are still paid under these terms once their hold is over, whatever their total. Commissions on orders that broke these terms are not paid.
8. Taxes and the rest
You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn. You are not our employee, agent or partner, and you can't make promises on our behalf. We may ask for information the law requires before we pay you. We never share buyers' names, emails, stories or songs with you.
